Adrienne Shishko is a process-driven, mixed media artist based in Boston, MA. She works in many different media, exploring the environmental impact of materialism, and the complicated relationships people have with their possessions. Her practice is rooted in intuition, responding to the stimulus around her. She balances a playful sense of improvisation with creative systems of order, trying to bring meaning to matter, and order to the chaos.  Her work has been exhibited throughout New England at venues including Beacon Gallery, The Quin House, the Providence Art Club, Mosesian Center for the Arts, the Cambridge Art Association, among others, as well as numerous private and corporate collections.

ABOUT SUZANNE MOSELEY

97338_4053142w750.jpg

Suzanne Moseley’s art practice strives to capture the layers of the human spirit and how our relationships are reflected in treasured objects, daily rituals and patinated surfaces. She seeks to channel the energetic grace of nature, honoring how it moves us forward with its intricate patterns and plans. Moseley’s work intuitively starts with the lens of her camera.  Textures, patterns, and forms that excite her find their way into woodblock printmaking, screen printing and cyanotype sun printing.  She plays and experiments, often combining mediums, to build  layers that push order to the very edge of chaos. Working and reworking, Suzanne holds onto what thrills and finds new possibilities for what doesn’t, a process analogous to how she lives life. There is a resilient energy in her work, both pictorial and process driven, that reflects her eternal optimism.

Moseley is currently represented by Leftbank Gallery in Wellfleet, MA and is affiliated with Boston Printmakers, Shepherd & Maudsleigh Studio, Concord Art and MGNE (Monotype Guild of New England). Her work has been widely exhibited in New England and will be on display this summer with the Boston Sculpture Gallery at Falmouth Hospital’s Highfield Hall in collaboration with Liz Shepherd and in the fall at Portugal’s 5th Global Print Douro show.
