While most everyone has heard of global warming, few people understand how environmental feedback loops amplify and accelerate the process. Climate Emergency Feedback Loops, narrated by Richard Gere and featuring twelve climate scientists, explains how warming caused by human activity sets in motion Earth’s own natural warming mechanisms, releasing additional greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, further heating up the planet.

The film series was launched in Jan. 2021 with a worldwide virtual event featuring the first-time “meeting” of The Dalai Lama and Greta Thunberg which was watched by over a million viewers across the globe. The broadcast version of the films has been sold to markets on every continent, and broadcast nationwide by the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) in the United States.

Featuring a post-screening discussion with co-writer and senior producer Bonnie Waltch. A portion of proceeds from art sales made during this event will be donated to environmental advocacy organizations.
